  1. 1

    Buy Capote on Steam

Capote is a $5.99 digital card game at version 1.0 on Steam (Windows and Linux), developed by Luski Game Studio and published by CriticalLeap.

  2. 2

Pull up a chair at the bar

Classic Capote supports 2 to 6 players online. Bots can fill empty seats when you want to practice your bidding or try a special card.

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is Capote?

Capote is a multiplayer trick-taking card game by Luski Game Studio, set in a Brazilian dive bar where 2 to 6 players call their bids, play cards, and dodge sabotaging special cards. It entered Steam Early Access on October 23, 2025 and shipped version 1.0 on August 20, 2026 with live Truco.

Is this the official Capote wiki?

No. Capote.wiki is an unofficial fan resource. Game names, characters, and trademarks belong to Luski Game Studio and CriticalLeap. Always confirm announcements through the official Steam page or developer channels.

Which languages does this wiki support?

The wiki ships in English (root), French, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Each locale covers every page with the same depth as English.

How do I redeem codes in Capote?

There is no live promo code system in Capote today. As soon as the developers add one, the Codes Hub will list every working code with the exact in-game steps to redeem.

Does Capote have controller support?

Capote is designed primarily for mouse and keyboard on PC. See the Controls reference for every input, including the in-game chat commands you can use mid-match.

How many players can play at once?

Two to six players in online lobbies, plus single-player Betejack and solo practice against bots. Cross-play between Windows and Linux clients is supported on Steam.
