How to use these guides
Every Capote guide is structured the same way: a short premise, a deep walkthrough, a section on mistakes to avoid, and a short FAQ that answers the questions players actually ask in Discord. Internal links use anchor text instead of bare URLs, and links point to locale-agnostic paths so the French, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese versions stay in sync.
Reading order for new players
If you have an hour to spare, follow the wiki in this order: Getting Started → Controls → Betting Strategy → Special Cards → Classic Capote rules → Betejack rules. That sequence covers every mechanic in the build and gives you the context to read the FAQ at the end with confidence.
If you spot something out of date, double-check the Latest Patch Notes before trusting older tips. Capote shipped version 1.0 on August 20, 2026; rule language can still change in hotfixes.
